The first step of my journey to Antarctica was taking a flight from Nashville, Tennessee to Miami, Florida.
The short two-hour flight was only a tease for the second leg of my journey: a nine-hour layover at the Miami Airport. At 11 p.m. we finally boarded our plane for Buenos Aires, Argentina. On-board, I happily watched the newly released film,
The BFG before being overtaken by exhaustion.
